Covid 19 : Sri Lanka crosses 50 000 infected mark

Sri Lanka last night recorded 50 229 infected cases of Covid 19 thereby crossing the 50 000 threshold. According to the Epidemiology Unit 6715 continue to receive treatment in various treatment centers and hospitals across the country.

43, 267 have already recovered and have been released. Sri Lanka has also recorded 247 deaths due to the virus.
