Singer Sri Lanka PLC (SINS) has officially announced a strategic collaboration with Kapruka Holdings PLC (KPHL) to offer its comprehensive range of consumer electronics and homeware through the Kapruka Partner Central platform. This partnership enables one of the nation’s most trusted retail brands to leverage the digital infrastructure of Sri Lanka’s largest locally owned e-commerce enterprise.

By joining forces, both entities aim to streamline the online shopping experience for a diverse customer base, ensuring that high-quality household essentials are more accessible than ever.

Under this new arrangement, customers can browse and purchase the same high-quality Singer products available in physical showrooms, now with the added convenience of the Kapruka platform. A key highlight of this partnership is the **price parity guarantee**, whereby all items listed on Kapruka will be sold at the exact same retail prices offered at Singer outlets. This ensures that customers receive the best value without any online premium, whether purchasing kitchen appliances, home entertainment systems, or other consumer durables.

The collaboration is expected to deliver significant value to Kapruka’s extensive user base, which includes over one million expatriate customers as well as a strong local following. Customers will benefit from Kapruka’s trusted delivery network and personalized customer service when purchasing genuine Singer products. While expatriates can conveniently send essential items to their families in Sri Lanka, local residents gain a reliable digital channel to upgrade their homes with the latest appliances and furniture, backed by the credibility of both brands.

Himali Silva, Project Lead of Partner Central at Kapruka, noted that the platform was specifically designed to help established brands reach a wider, digitally savvy audience. She stated that by welcoming a household name like Singer, Kapruka is reinforcing its commitment to offering customers a premium product selection supported by a seamless logistics experience.

She further noted that the integration of Singer’s inventory into Partner Central marks a significant step forward in Kapruka’s mission to support local brand growth through advanced e-commerce solutions catering to both global and domestic markets.

Representing Singer Sri Lanka PLC, Chief Operating Officer Vajira Tennakoon expressed enthusiasm about the opportunities created by this partnership. He emphasized that as consumer behavior increasingly shifts toward online channels, it is essential for Singer to maintain a strong digital presence. Tennakoon added that by leveraging Kapruka’s advanced platform, Singer can extend its reach across the island more efficiently, while maintaining the trust and service standards built over decades in the retail sector.
