Malindu Dairy Bags Industrial Excellence Silver Award

Malindu Dairy (Pvt) Ltd., a leading food production company in Sri Lanka, won the Silver Award in the medium-scale dairy and associated products category at the Industrial Excellence Awards organised by the Industrial Development Board (IDB). The award ceremony was held at the Nelum Pokuna Mahinda Rajapaksa Theatre in Colombo, under the patronage of President Ranil Wickremesinghe. Malindu Dairy’s Managing Director, Manjula Nishantha received the award.

Malindu Dairy (Pvt) Ltd., which entered into business in the year 1997 as a small-scale company which manufactured yoghurt, has since expanded the business by producing drinking yoghurt.

A wide array of Malindu products such as yoghurt, fruit juice, and vanilla, chocolate, strawberries, and fruit and nuts flavoured ice cream, can be found in the market. It is with the use of state-of-the-art machinery and 100% of fresh cow and buffalo milk that Malindu products are manufactured, adhering to the prescribed health and safety guidelines.

Malindu Dairy has received several certifications such as the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) certification and ISO 14001, ISO 22000 and also several other awards. Through constant research and development, Malindu Dairy maintains and promotes the high-quality standards of its products.
