The occasion marked a significant milestone for aspiring nursing leaders as they formally transitioned from students to healthcare professionals, ready to take on their roles in the dynamic world of healthcare. The ceremony was graced by several distinguished guests, underscoring the importance of the event. Dr. Nihal De Silva, Chancellor/Chairman of IIHS Multiversity, Dr. Kithsiri Edirisinghe, CEO/Co-Founder/Director of International Relations, and Dr. Amal Harsha De Silva, Pro-Vice-Chancellor – International, all played key roles in shaping the day’s proceedings. Adding further prominence, Mrs. Renuka Jayatissa, Vice Chancellor of IIHS, and Ms. Hamzi Haniff, Education Programme Manager at the British Council Sri Lanka, lent their support and insight, symbolizing the strong international collaborations that IIHS holds.

The ceremony recognized the journey of each student, reflecting their commitment to both education and the profession they are stepping into. Receiving the nursing pins marked the beginning of their professional careers and symbolized the responsibilities they would now carry as healthcare providers. The presence of leaders in healthcare and education emphasized the shared commitment to nurturing future nursing professionals. Their words of encouragement and mentorship provided invaluable guidance to the graduates as they prepared to embark on their professional paths. These leaders also reinforced the importance of maintaining the highest standards of care and service in the ever-changing healthcare landscape. This event not only celebrated academic achievement but also embodied IIHS Multiversity’s mission to elevate the standards of healthcare education.
