Chairman of the Royal Nursing Home Lion. Manuja Hewawasam honored with 3 Gold Awards

The Club Awarding Ceremony organized by Lions Clubs International District 306 was held recently in a grand and prestigious manner at the Royal Colombo Golf Club. The Chief Guest at the event was Hon. Prime Minister’s Secretary, Lion. Pradeep Saputhanthri, along with the District 306 D6 Chairman, Lion. Ayesh De Silva. During the event, in recognition of the social service contributions made through the Lions organization from 2021 to 2025, Lion. Manuja Hewawasam, the Chairman of Royal Nursing Home (Pvt) Ltd, was honored with three Gold Awards: Most Supportive & Outstanding Lion Leader Award 2021–2025, Highest Financial Sponsorships Award 2021–2025, and Service Excellence Award 2021–2025. Lion. Manuja Hewawasam has generously made significant financial donations towards Buddhist religious activities, including temple renovations and new constructions. He has also greatly contributed to social welfare initiatives. Business leaders like him deserve to be recognized in this manner, and this should serve as an inspiration to other entrepreneurs in society.
