Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has informed the Russian authorities that the issue related to the Aeroflot flight,which was detained at Katunayake Air port is not a diplomatic issue but a personal legal dispute.
An official from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the Prime Minister had informed the Russian authorities through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that this was a personal legal issue and not a diplomatic issue or an issue related to the diplomatic process.
Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has informed the Russian authorities that he has instructed the Minister of Justice to take steps to resolve this issue as soon as possible.
