Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe will be sworn in as the new Finance Minister tomorrow (25).
Although the ministers appointed the Finance Minister’s position has been remained vacant and the sources said PM Wickremasinghe has informed to the President on his interest for the position.
Although Ranil Wickremesinghe has been the Prime Minister of the country six times, this is the first time he has been sworn in as the Minister of Finance. He will be lead the team going for the discussions with IMF and other donor agencies .
