Due to a Gramasevaka’s drunken  state and the spillage of his harvested paddy bags , traffic on the Kilinochchi-Paranthan Road  completely halted.

Local residents in the Kandawalei area of Kilinochchi reported that school children and government employees were unable to reach their destinations. The incident occurred when the Gramasevalka , while transporting a load of paddy bags  gathered from his paddy field feel out of the lorry.  The spilled produce soaked and spread across the road, blocking traffic in the center.

As a result, vehicles had to take alternative routes, and residents also noted that one of the vehicles involved was a ambulance . Approximately four hours later, two police officers patrolling the main road intervened.
