The Department of Examinations has postponed the Advanced Level Examination for an additional three days due to the ongoing adverse weather conditions.

Commissioner General of Examinations, Amit Jayasundara, announced that the 2024 Advanced Level Examination will now resume on Wednesday, December 4.

The department previously decided not to hold exams on November 27, 28, and 29 due to the weather. With this latest announcement, exams will also not take place on November 30, December 2, and December 3.

Although the weather conditions have begun to improve, the decision was made to support students affected by the disruptions.
