Tiran Alas, the Minister of Public Security, has directed the Inspector General of Police to initiate an immediate investigation into the resignation of the Mullaitivu District Court Judge and the subsequent departure from the country.
The Minister of Public Safety has emphasized that the investigation should encompass a thorough examination of the facts surrounding the incident as well as any external influences that may have contributed to it.
In addition to the Inspector General of Police’s involvement, the Minister has instructed the Criminal Investigation Department to promptly conduct its own investigation into the matter.
