Estimated value of stolen assests is over Rs.10 million, in Nalin Aponsu’s House Burglary

A burglary took place in the residence of Nalin Aponsu, the Director of Human Resource Development at the Sri Lanka Ports Authority, President of the Public Service Cricket Club, and member of the Sri Lanka Cricket Executive Committee in broad daylight.

The incident occurred at First Lane, Katuawala Mawatha, Boralasgamuwa.

The stolen items include a sum of 5.7 million rupees, $10,400 in cash, and various gold items.

Police have released photos and videos of the criminals to the media.

After receiving a complaint regarding the incident on the 12th, the Boralasgamuwa Police initiated an investigation.

The estimated value of the stolen assets is 10.78 million rupees.

At the time of the robbery, only a maid was present in the house, who was threatened to hand over a small safe containing the money and gold items.
