A widespread protest campaign is underway in hospitals across the island, organized by the Health Trade Union Alliance, today (12). The demonstration aims to highlight the prolonged delay in providing economic justice to health workers and to denounce health administrators for impeding hospital services.
Protesters are gathering in front of several hospitals, including the Colombo National Hospital, Kandy National Hospital, Ratnapura Hospital, Ampara Hospital, Kalutara Hospital, and Galle Karapitiya Hospital.
