The Veyangoda police area has been identified as a corona high risk area. According to health officials the area has been declared as a high risk area after a large number of Covid 19 positive patients are being identified from the community.
At present, the Veyangoda Police are informing all people in the area to stay indoors and to assist in the ambulance service to transport patients. Police say they will take strict legal action against anyone who violates the curfew.
