The COPE will probe the activities of the Central Cultural Fund.

 

The Committee on Public Enterprises is scheduled to meet tomorrow (07) when the officials of the Central Cultural Fund will be summoned to inquire about its activities.

During the meeting chaired by COPE Committee Chairman Prof. Ranjith Bandara, the past performance of the fund will be raised again to ascertain certain matters. Parliamentary sources said.

Besides, officials of the Export Credit Insurance Corporation have also been summoned before the COPE committee. The COPE committee proceedings will be held on Wednesday and Thursday.

Accordingly, arrangements have been made to call the Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation on the 8th and the Land Reform Commission on the 9th before the COPE.
