Sri Lanka reported its 14th Covid death today (21). The female patient who passed away was a resident of Kuliyapitiya according to Health officials. She had tested positive for Covid on October 16 at the Kuliyapitiya Hospital after being admitted to the hospital on October 12. She was later transferred to the IDH for treatment four days ago. A mini Covid cluster in Kuliyapitiya was discovered recently through random PCR testing.
According to reports the 50 year old woman had undergone a bypass surgery sometime ago.
