Sri Lanka’s current COVID-19 lockdown has been extended till October 01, Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella said.
The decision was taken at the COVID-19 committee meeting chaired by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa this morning. Essential services will be permitted to operate during the lockdown period. Health professionals urged to the government for such an extension to take maximum benefit of the past lockdown.
