The Leader of the Opposition Sajith Premadasa today questioned in Parliament the reasons behind the decision to sell the Bank of Ceylon headquarters building in Colombo Fort to a third party and whether the government, if it has such a plan, would submit such information to the House.
During a question and answer session this morning, Premadasa also raised a question at length under Standing Order 27-2 regarding the Rs. 3.14 billion loan given by BOC to DS Gunasekara, a private company to purchase cigarettes.
