The Jaffna University has suspended four senior students for alleged sexual harassment of several first-year students using online platforms. According to sources, the four students are attached to the management faculty of the University.
A police complaint was lodged with the Kopai Police yesterday and Police are also investigating the incident.

According to sources the seniors had forced their victims to partake in sexual activities which were then live-streamed or recorded and then shared on various platforms.
