President Ranil Wickremesinghe left the island on today (17) to attend the funeral of late Queen Elizabeth II, which is to be held on the 19 tha at Westminster Abbey, London.
President left for Dubai this morning on an Emirates Flight and from Dubai the entourage including the president will go to London.

This is the first foreign visit of Mr. Wickramasinghe since he took office as the president.
