Jaffna Police have nabbed 103 bottles of government liquor being transported in a three wheeler along with two suspects in the Anakotte area in Jaffna yesterday (04).
Police had received information that the liquor was brought for distribution as election bribes. The two arrested youths are currently being questioned.
The arrested youths are aged 26 and 27 and are residents of Manipay, Jaffna. Police have also seized a three wheeler transporting liquor. Jaffna Police are carrying out further investigations.
