Pfizer to Sri Lanka ups by 90,000 doses today

Another batch of 90,000 doses of the “Pfizer” vaccine manufactured in the US, was brought to the country this morning. With this stock the total doses of Pfizer received to Sri Lanka would rise to 160,200.

According to the duty manager of Katunayaka Airport, the vaccines were packed in 16 cartons weighing 547 kg,

The cargo was stored at the Katunayake Airport Cargo Village freezer facility and subsequently, transferred to the State Pharmaceutical Corporation Central Warehouse in Colombo by the corporation’s freezer trucks.
