Bribery Commission seeks to get Ranjan’s details about “Pandora papers Sri Lankans”

Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption has decided to obtain a statement from the imprisoned former Member of Parliament Ranjan Ramanayake regarding the findings of the Pandora leaflets which revealed the hidden assets of the billionaires , sources said.

It has been decided following a request made by Ranjan Ramanayake.

Accordingly, the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption sources said that he will be summoned before the Commission at a future date.

Apsara Caldera, secretary of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption has said tio the media that it had been decided to submit an interim report to President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa regarding the investigations into the husband of former Deputy Minister Nirupama Rajapaksa’s Thirukumar Nadesan, whose name was mentioned in the Pandora report.

She also said that investigative teams were studying Thirukumara Nadesan’s banking and documents obtained from government agencies.
