The State Miscellaneous Statutory Corporation has announced plans to release one million quality-guaranteed eggs to the Sathosa Institute by today (18).
Asiri Valisundara, the chairman of the corporation, mentioned that these eggs are part of the 10 million eggs currently imported into Sri Lanka.

In addition, for the festive season, around 15 million eggs are set to be brought to the island tomorrow (17). These eggs will undergo testing before being released into the market, ensuring quality standards.
