The Elections Commission says that it is not necessary for any person to visit the Grama Niladhari offices to complete the election revision forms.
The Commissioner-General of Elections Saman Sri Ratnayake stated that complaints have been received that some Grama Niladharis are requesting people to visit their offices to complete election revision forms. He also stressed that it should not be so.
He also said that the Grama Niladharis should go door to door to complete these documents and that they have been given all the instructions to do so.
