The post of Attorney General’s Coordinating Officer has been abolished with immediate effect by a circular issued by the Attorney General’s Department.
Circular No. 28 of 2019, which established the post, has been removed with immediate effect and the Attorney General has no coordinating officer.
This circular has been issued by the Attorney General’s Department under the signature of Senior Solicitor General (Administration) Chethiya Gunasekara.
Attorney-at-Law Nishara Jayaratne has been the coordinating officer of former Attorney General Dappula de Livera.
