Nine inmates who died in the Mahara prison clash have been diagnosed with corona infection. The Director of Ragama Hospital stated that this was confirmed by PCR tests carried out on samples taken from the bodies of the deceased prisoners.
PCR tests of the other two dead detainees are scheduled for today. Eleven inmates were killed in an unrest at the Mahara Prison on Sunday (09).
