The body of Sirasa TV 3D animator Dinura Wijesundera who went missing while visiting the Mini World’s End in Madulsima has been found today (09) by Sri Lanka Army Special Forces.
Despite the foggy weather, troops continued to actively participate in the search operation for the third day. His body was found in the lower reaches of Mini World’s End in Madulsima according to Army Commander General Shavendra Silva. Army spokesman Brigadier Nilantha Premaratne said the body was found lying on a rock. It is believed he may have slipped and fallen.
Twelve people, including six doctors, had joined Wijesundera on the trip to the area on February 06. Wijesundara was 34 at the time of his death.
