Milinda Moragoda, the High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to India, met with Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda the National President of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party at the BJP Headquarters in New Delhi. Shri J.P Nadda is a member of the Rajya Sabha (Upper House) from Himachal Pradesh and is a former Union Cabinet Minister of Health and Family Welfare.
The BJP was founded in 1980 and has been the ruling party in India since 2014. The party has a membership of 180 million.
