The Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) Parliamentarians’ Group today decided to give their unconditional commitment and full support to the success of President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa’s Vision for Prosperity Policy Statement.
The decision was taken at a preliminary discussion held at the Daly Road party headquarters yesterday (09) under the chairmanship of Maithripala Sirisena.
Speaking at the event, the SLFP Chairman Maithripala Sirisena had said that the government had received a clear mandate and that the SLFP as a party was committed to obtaining that mandate and should continue to support the government 100 percent in the future as well.
