Journalist covering Thondaman’s funeral has not contracted Covid 19

Dikoya Hospital Director confirms

Ganesh Krishanthan, the 26-year-old Journalist from Gredvil, Pathana who was suspected to have contracted Covid 19 while reporting from the funeral of late Minister Arumugam THondaman has not contracted the disease. His PCR test has found out to be negative according to the Director of the Dikoya Hospital Dr E.K Wellalalan. 

He also said the test results have been conveyed to  Krishanthan through the doctor in charge of the OPD, Dr Sudharshan.

Meanwhile, it is also reported that a disciplinary inquiry will be held against the Public Health Inspector (PHI) who falsely told media that three individuals attending the late Minister’s funeral had contracted Covid 19 causing fear and panic.
