Government sources have disclosed that another delegation from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is slated to visit Sri Lanka in the forthcoming week.
Dr. Wijayadasa Rajapaksa, the Minister of Justice, Prison Affairs, and Constitutional Reform, informed media that the IMF team’s primary agenda revolves around extensive discussions regarding the second tranche of the Extended Fund Facility for Sri Lanka.
The discussions are anticipated to center on critical aspects such as the nation’s tax policy and other pertinent economic matters.
Dr. Rajapaksa added that officials are aiming to arrive at a conclusive decision on these matters during the course of the upcoming week.
