Investigations have commenced on four former State Ministers who have not returned their official vehicles according to the Election Commission of Sri Lanka.
The EC also said it will look into other State Ministers while it has also ordered all Ministry Secretaries to take over all official vehicles and staff back to the relevant Ministries.

According to the EC, the tenure of all State Ministers ended on March 2 and therefore utilizing Ministry vehicles or staff following this date is illegal.
