Flights to Israel Resumed for Sri Lankan Passengers

Following the temporary suspension of flights due to Iranian missile attacks and the subsequent airspace closure requested by Israel last Saturday (13), services have now resumed.

An Arkia Airlines flight is scheduled to arrive from Colombo to Tel Aviv on the morning of April 18th, according to the Ambassador. Additionally, AIR-INDIA flights from New Delhi to Tel Aviv will resume from April 18, allowing passengers arriving from Colombo via New Delhi to connect to Israel.

Furthermore, FLY DUBAI Airlines has initiated flights to Israel from Dubai and Abu Dhabi, providing additional options for Sri Lankan travelers to reach their destination.

Ambassador Nimal Bandara has advised passengers with existing flight tickets to confirm their bookings before heading to the airport, ensuring smooth travel arrangements amidst the recent disruptions.
