“We have not increased fuel prices in the last one and a half years. This is not a voluntary decision. A decision that must be taken. When a government is formed we have to manage. There are times when tough decisions need to be made in these management activities. Reluctantly, we have to make that decision without regretting it later. We take decisions for the national security of the country, the national economy and the welfare of the people of the country. At this juncture we had to take that decision to strengthen the national economy. ”
