Electoral candidates with links to tobacco, alcohol or drugs to be exposed!

The Centre for Combating Tobacco (CCT) in Sri Lanka has said it will expose the names of candidates who are connected to the tobacco, alcohol and illicit drug industry in Sri Lanka. According to the Centre, this will include those who are either supporting or receiving benefits from tobacco, alcohol or illicit drug industries as well as any of those who have affiliations to the same.

The Centre for Combating Tobacco (CCT) in Sri Lanka is currently carrying out a study in this regard. Director of CCT Dr. Mahesh Rajasuriya said the findings of this investigation will be published on tobaccounmasked.lk and will be disseminated before the election date.
