Donation of USD 17,550 to Sri Lanka by Aggamaha Saddhamma Jotika Dhaja, Most Venerable Aung Za Bu Sayadaw, Chief of Aung Za Bu Monastery of Myanmar

Aggamaha Saddhamma Jotika Dhaja, Most Venerable Aung Za Bu Sayadaw, Chief of Aung Za Bu Monastery of Myanmar donated USD 17,550 (approx. LKR 6,521,580) to the Government of Sri Lanka to purchase essential medicines and food items for the Sri Lankan people on 26th January 2023.

The monetary donation was officially handed over to the Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Myanmar Janaka Bandara by Aggamaha Saddhamma Jotika Dhaja, Most Venerable Aung Za Bu Sayadaw, Chief of Aung Za Bu Monastery of Myanmar at Lotte Hotel in Yangon as a meritorious birthday gift on the eve of the 60th birthday of Most Venerable Aung Za Bu Sayadaw.

Accepting the donation Ambassador Janaka Bandara extended his heartiest wishes and sincere gratitude to the Most Ven. Aung Za Bu Sayadaw of Myanmar for the generous gesture.
