All employees of the Kottawa, Kaduwela and Athurugiriya interchanges on the Southern Expressway have been removed this morning (3) 17 staff members found infected with Covid 19 virus. The move comes as 17 officers working at the interchanges were infected with the Covid-19 virus.
Accordingly, no permit has been issued to any vehicle entering the expressway due to these interchanges since this morning.
Also, when leaving the expressway, the relevant tolls had to be made from those places.Vehicles traveling on the expressway from Kottawa, Athurugiriya and Kaduwela have not been charged since this morning.
