Following the Attorney General’s submissions on ‘Maaveerar naal’ commemorations, the Mullaitivu and Jaffna Magistrate’s Courts have ordered the prohibition of Maaveerar naal’ commemorations in the districts. Earlier the Mannar magistrate court also ordered a ban on commemorations in the area.
