The Commissioner General of Agrarian Services has been confirmed to be infected with the coronavirus. Due to this a large number of officials who participated in a workshop held in Hambantota under his leadership had been directed to quarantine.
An Agriculture Workshop was held on November 28 at the Udayala Agrarian Services Center, Weeraketiya, Hambantota under the patronage of the Commissioner General of Agrarian Services. A PCR test carried out on the Commissioner General after the onset of symptoms revealed that he was infected.
