Brother seeks information on suspicious death of Sri Lankan beauty queen

The death of, Ms. Sri Lanka 1962 Jennifer Ingleton who also made a name for herself as a Bollywood actress is suspicious according to her brother, Tony Hawke. According to him his sister’s caretaker has obtained all her assets through a suspicious last will. He is now calling for public assistance to unearth more information on the case.

Ingleton had been 78 and a widow at the time of her death. She had been living alone in Borella and had been assisted by another person.  According to her brother who is residing in the UK and is currently in Sri Lanka, her manner of death is suspicious.

Ingleton had been living with a person she had met at a dance class and this person had acted as her caretaker. According to her brother, the person later did not allow Ingelton to speak to her relatives.

While she had been hospitalized last year, her brother said she had wanted to visit her family and relatives in Australia but the caretaker had prevented this. Relatives had not been allowed to vist her after she had returned from hospital either, Hawke said. The person had also not allowed her to use a mobile or even the land phone to make calls, her relatives allege.

According to information revealed the person had obtained her assets through a last will which had contained signatures of five witnesses sans any addresses.

The lawyer handling the case Attorney Ian Fernando said the records of her immovable assets have also disappeared from the land registry.

While a complaint has been lodged with the Borella Police, the brother is requesting the public to provide any information they may have on the case by contacting 0722251749 or 0112 432097.
