The official meeting between the Chinese Ambassador and the Minister of Defense General Wei Fenghe, who is on a two day official visit, and President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa took place at the Presidential Secretariat this morning (28).
Chinese Defense Minister arrived at the Presidential Secretariat received by the secretary to the President Dr.P.B Jayasundera and Foreign Secretary Admiral (Retd.) Prof. Jayanath Colombage. The Chinese Defense Minister said that the bilateral talks between the President and himself were very fruitful. He also noted that the visit further strengthened the ties between the two countries.
