The Bar Association of Sri Lanka (BASL) is questioning whether Duminda Silva, a former parliamentarian convicted of murder and a member of the parliament was pardoned by the President after taking the necessary steps in accordance with the Constitution.
The Bar Association has stated several reasons for inquiring into this matter. Issuing a statement by the executive committee of BASL questioned the matter today.
