Bandula Warnapura ends his life inning

The first Test Cricket Captain of Sri Lanka Bandula Warnapura has passed away this morning at a private hospital in Colombo family sources said. He was at the age of 68 while his demise and was receiving treatments for couple of weeks over his illnesses.
He was the captain of maiden Test Match in 1982, Sri Lanka faced with England at P. Sara Stadium in Colombo and captained 03 test matches and 12 One Day Internationals. Being an opening batsman cricket expetts describe his as a one of the most technically capable batsman in the world in 80’s.
Recently he was developed with some illnesses including Diabetes and his right leg was amputated few days ago.
