It is reported that the Chairman of the Export Development Board appointed by President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa, Prabhash Subasinghe has sent his resignation letter.
It is learned that he had stated in his letter that he had accepted the post for only one year and that he would resign as per the agreement as that year was over by now.

Susantha Ratnayake, the former chairman of the Board of Investment appointed by the President, had also resigned from his post citing the one-year term this week.
