A Tejas light combat aircraft belonging to the Indian Air Force had crashed near Jaisalma during a training exercise today (12).
The pilot ejected safely before the accident.

Regarding the incident, the Indian Air Force issued a statement saying, “A Tejas aircraft belonging to the Indian Air Force met with an accident today during an operational training program in Jaisalmer.
The Indian Air Force says that the pilot has escaped safely and an investigation board has been set up to find the cause of the accident.
