Police are investigating the incident through a blood stain in the drug store.

Following suspicions that a minor employee involved in a previous theft of a computer at the hospital may have committed the theft, the police have taken a blood sample of the person concerned and sent it for a DNA test to verify that it is compatible with the blood in the drug store.

The crime branch is conducting investigations on the instructions of Kandy Police Headquarters Chief Inspector Thusitha Halangoda.
