13 drugs and surgical items withdrawn from hospitals due to quality faliures

Thirteen medicinal drugs, injections and surgical items  distributed to government hospitals have been withdrawn from hospitals during this month up to date as a result of  the quality failure issues found  according to the Medical Supplies Division (MSD),
These Medicines had been withdrawn from government hospitals following the laboratory tests carried out by the National Drug quality assurance lab. Among those medicines that had been withdrawn from hospitals due to quality failure issues during this month were Thiamine HCL injections, Cefuroxime Injection vial , Bicarbonate Haemodialysis Concentrate Solution and Flucloxacillin Cap 500mg it has been revealed.
