“Sashi’s comedy is making ripples of laughter across Australia and beyond, with a busy schedule of shows this year.
A refugee lawyer by profession, Sashi came to Melbourne to pursue her Masters in Law. However, it was on the comedy stage where she truly found her voice, exchanging legal arguments for laughter.
Her talent has been recognized with a ‘Best Newcomer’ nomination at the 2023 Melbourne International Comedy Festival. She also joined the ‘One to Watch’ list at the UK Funny Women Awards. Last year, her show “Boundaries” toured nationally across Australia, with sold-out performances also gracing the stages of the UK, Europe, and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.”
