The newly launched BBA programme at the IIHS has received approval from the University Grants Commission (UGC), solidifying its legitimacy and ensuring that students receive a recognised educational qualification. This programme comes as an exciting opportunity for individuals interested in combining their passion for business with the unique expertise offered by a healthcare institute. One of the key advantages of the BBA programme offered by the IIHS is the comprehensive curriculum, which consists of 120 credits with a strong focus on research and internships. Renowned medical doctor, Dr. Kithsiri Edirisinghe is heading the newly launched BBA programme at the IIHS. With his vast experience and expertise in the healthcare industry, the IIHS stated that he would bring a unique perspective to the business administration field, and added that his leadership would also ensure that the programme maintains a strong emphasis on ethics, social responsibility, and innovation, aligning with IIHS’s core values. “We believe in the power of inclusivity and the importance of nurturing a well-rounded individual. By offering a UGC-approved BBA programme, we provide our students with the chance to explore the world of business while benefiting from IIHS’s prestigious reputation in the healthcare industry.
