Cap Snap Lanka wins four Gold Awards at National Quality and Productivity Convention

Cap Snap Lanka (Pvt) Ltd won four Gold Awards at the National Convention on Quality and Productivity 2025, held recently at the Mount Lavinia Hotel, where its subsidiary, American Polymers (Pvt) Ltd, also received a Silver Award. The event was organised by the Sri Lanka Association for the Advancement of Quality and Productivity (SLAAQP). The four Gold Awards won by Cap Snap Lanka were for the achievements of its Quality Control Circles: Team Crystal (QCC2510276), Eco Guardians (QCC2510278), Perfect Finders (QCC2510280), and Clarity Achievers (QCC2510279). American Polymers received a Silver Award for its Quality Control Circle, The Counting Arc (QCC2510272).

Cap Snap Lanka, established in June 2003, is a total turnkey packaging solution provider. Its sister entity, American Polymers, provides rigid plastic packaging for industries such as Water, Tea, Paint, Pharmaceuticals, Dairy, Beverages, Edible Oil, and detergents. With over two decades of experience, it operates two advanced production plants in Homagama and Artigala, with a combined workspace of 300,000+ square feet. The group of company employs over 1,000 people directly and supports indirectly more than 5000 livelihoods. Currently, the company supports more than 250+ leading Brands across the island.

American Polymers is also notable for being the only packaging manufacturer in Sri Lanka with its recycling system. It produces the country’s lightest PET bottles and runs high-speed production lines that use 50% less energy. With a fully automated process and minimal human contact, the company maintains high levels of hygiene and efficiency. Cap Snap Lanka and American Polymers have received many local and international awards over the past. The Company is currently certified with the highest standards, such as FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, HACCP, and GMP, which distinguishes it from other manufacturers.
